I have an interest in self help, positive psychology, lifestyle design, gamification, goal setting and achievement, and other overlapping and allied fields. I enjoy reading about these topics, albeit I tend to do so with a skeptical eye. Sometimes my enjoyment stems more from the audacity of the messenger than from the value of a particular message (which sometimes is a key message, right?). I am starting this blog to document some of my experiences with and thoughts about these topics. I also plan to use it as my version of an accountability partner. For now, this illustration should give an idea of one of my goals. Get my weight down to 165 pounds.
